FONBO Releases Its Absolute Language Applications Version 1.2 for Palm and J2ME Enabled Phones
New mobile device language applications eliminate the language barrier for travelers in foreign countries.
SAN MATEO, California -- November 27, 2003 -- FONBO LLC today announces the release of its multimedia ABSOLUTE Phrase Guides 1.2. This series of applications, for mobile phones and personal digital assistants (PDAs), will let you to get through the communications barrier and make you feel more at home when you are doing business, studying, or vacationing in a foreign country.
While version 1.0 was English-based, version 1.2 has been localized into Spanish and French. Furthermore, a lite version is introduced for J2ME MIDP 1.0 phones. As a result, FONBO can now serve to a bigger selection of phones & PDAs, and it can serve to a much wider audience, no matter the customer is French-speaking, Spanish-speaking, or English-speaking.
Currently, the following language pairs are available in version 1.2: English-French, English-Spanish, French-Spanish, French-English, Spanish-English & Spanish-French. Version 1.2 for Microsoft Pocket PC devices will be available shortly.
The Absolute Language series is currently available in the following platforms: Symbian Nokia Series 60 platform, J2ME MIDP 1.0, Palm OS version 5.0 or higher and Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 or higher. They are available for sale on all Handango-powered Web sites. Future versions in other languages, e.g. Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German and Slovene, will be introduced.
