Absolute Language Series
Every guide in the series contains more than one hundred and fifty common phrases and words that a traveler would need. Categorized in different daily situations, the guide allows travelers to find the phrase they need with few clicks of a button. Fearful travelers can even talk to the local people with a press of the sound button, which speaks out the phrase they need. The phrases are separated into the following categories to match travelers' needs:
- Basics (basic conversation; pickup lines; swear words; numbers; time; day, months and seasons)
- Transportation
- Food
- Accommodation
- Shopping
Currently the following language pairs are offered:
- English-French
- English-Spanish
- French-English
- French-Spanish
- Spanish-English
- Spanish-French
In the future, Chinese, Japanese, Korean & Slovene versions will be added.
This series of applications are now available for Palm OS, Windows Pocket PC, and Symbian OS Nokia Series 60 devices. A Lite version is also available for J2ME MIDP 1.0 phones. Customers can try out and buy the applications on Handango websites.
