Can I stop wearing glasses?

cornea

If you are wearing glasses at the moment and don't want to wear them ever again, having an LASIK operation will enable you to have perfect 20-20 vision without wearing any corrective lenses. The good thing about LASIK is that it is painless and most patients will be able to see clearly hours after operation.

What is LASIK?

LASIK is an acronym for Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis. The cornea, the front part of the eye, is reshaped using laser to correct shortsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism. First, a flap of the cornea is cut, either using a metal blade or a laser. Secondly, an excimer laser is used to remove tiny bits of tissue in the cornea to reshape the cornea to correct the vision problem.
