Consequences
It is estimated that around 3% - 6% of the LASIK patients have some complications after operation. Common complications are dry eyes, weak night vision and imperfect vision (overcorrection or undercorrection).
Also, since this type of surgery is quite new, there are currently no data on how the patients are performing in long term. Make sure you think of the consequences before the operation! It is always wise to consult an eye doctor for more details.
