How to survive a breakup?
Here is what should do after a breakup:
Find Support
Talk to your friends and family who are good listeners and care about you. Often you feel better if you just say what you have in your mind.
Keep occupied
Don't stay in your room and sob. Limit the time when you are alone. Try to keep yourself as occupied as possible so that you have less time to think about the breakup. Sign up for classes that you have wanted to take, go to the gym to exercise more. Make yourself physically tired so that you won't have the energy to think about the relationships. Let the physical side of you overwhelm your sentimental side.
Socialize more
Now you have more free time, you should make the best out of it. Reconnect with friends and relatives that you haven't been in touch with for a while.

If you have health insurance plan that covers psychological problems, it may be nice to have a free and inspiring talk with a shrink.
